Born in February, 1940 In Barkingside, Essex I took up residence in Long Island New York at the age of 8. My family immigrated to America and returned to Britain in 1958. I have resided in the Chelmsford area for 32 yrs and worked as a nurse in an assessment unit for mental health in a local hospital. I married in 1962 and have two sons one of them is married. I have three delightful grandchildren.

My love of writing started at an early age and was encouraged by my American schoolteachers. I began writing seriously for possible publication after my divorce in 1971. I have had many poems published in anthologies, newspapers and magazines in Germany, The U.S.A, Israel, Britain, Australia, and recently had a collection of my own work published in India.

The Book is called Captured Images and I have copies for sale at £5.00 if anyone cares to buy a copy.

I have many hobbies including travel and I have been very fortunate to see much of the world and also it’s beautiful wildlife. As a spiritual person this gives me great inspiration for my poetry.
