The Poetry of Rox Sykes

Profile

I have been writing poetry for as long as I could write, always

finding it to be a beneficial way to escape from life's problems. I

guess you could say I am one of those people who writes because she

can't not.

I was born in South Africa but moved to the UK earlier this year,

seeking adventure, happiness, an escape from the mundane that had

become my life. I enjoy working with children, reading, a good movie

and conversation with friends. Oh, and a good warm beverage to

accompany the last three is never remiss.
