Simultaneous Spirit
Mild electricity flows
Europe's gaze is on the mother of the east
Olympic lights serenely glow
Drama is encouragingly evident
Though almost perfectly decreased
Beauty can make a fool of the harshest season
In such flowering, flawless glory
Appearing in angelic shades
Filling me with imagery of a bygone story
While my historic home gleams in a refreshing downpour
A scene that could have been painted by the legends of France
I feed on spiritual nutrition
From the voltage of this invigorating trance.
