The Tale Of The Fox

Listen while I tell you the tale of the Fox.

He's been hunted and hounded and had a few knocks.

He's been chased at full gallop, pursued by the hounds

In fear of his life, over fields he would bound.

On highways he's dazzled and will lose his life,

And that's not the problem or end to his strife.

The sprawl is fast growing populations expand

Taking his food and his territory, the land.

Now he roots in the offshoots of human's remains

In gardens, and dustbins and down country lanes.

So sad that a creature so beautiful to see,

Must face all these perils in a wish to be free.

So take just a moment to consider his plight.

As a part of creation, let us join in his fight.
