How Much They Love

How much they love who have no bitter side

Nor self-defence in which emotions hide.

Life is a game and we are oft to lose

Though wars are won with nothing left but truths.

The heart shall ache but still the soul will gain

If all reliance on our God we train

And reaching out to embrace the human throng

That has this need of loving to belong.
