Walk kindly

Whence in reflection you shall walk the paths that we shared

Sweet blossoms in profusion that time hath not impaired

Make light your heart enjoy the scented roses that we knew

Tread carefully midst memories of loving, and of you,

The tree of happiness grows tall in glade where once we walked,

And nightingale still sings her song, the words that once we talked.

The silver webs in morning mist still hang on willow tree,

The tiny diamonds on each thread our dreams of destiny.

Rest gently midst the flora of all our yesterdays,

For time can only sweeten the memories that were made,

Go softly by the little brook where once our passion flowed,

That kindly of the murmured words that once our promise showed.

For, I shall walk again with thee and hold thy tiny hand,

This is our magic Neverland where once our love began.
