Lake

Dark depths of blue

Hidden too

Quiet ripple hits the shore

Hidden depths,

part of folk lore

Lake of blue,

surrounded by,

mountains of stone

and blue sky

Known to the few

who know it alone

and want it too

This lake of blue

Only matched................

by the colour of your eyes

Deeper than blue skies

These thoughts hatched............

Be with me too

This tranquil lake,

so blue

Hidden depths..............

I sense it too

Beginning to wake

Dark depths of blue,

hidden too

Hidden lake,

beginning to wake

Depths of blue,

hidden in you

Your tranquil lake,

beginning to wake

Hidden in mountains of stone

Depths of blue,

wanting to be alone

I am wanting it too,

this precious time with you
