Gull

Winter sea

cold and grey,

its' hostility I see,

Pounding in the bay

Wild of sea and sky,

such winds I must fly

Black cliffs resist

Angry grey sea,

that smashes its' fist,

deep in to glistening rock.

Gulls beginning to flock

This roller coaster I ride,

Wild wind calling,

Dangers I deride,

Pressure falling

Friends soaring

Wild sea and sky

Such wind I must fly

Roar of wind,

Pummels me,

Crash of surf,

Deafens me,

My playground,

My turf

Up and down

Cruising the cliff,

Wild wind and water,

I get my lift

Rising seas flecked with white,

Winds, I must not fight,

For, they blow strong

We must get along

Wild of sea and sky

Such wind I must fly

Wind pushing me miles far,

Can bring me back,

By turn of wing.

Strength it does not lack,

For the wind does sing

For me on my wing

Wild of sea and sky

Such wind I must fly
