Wanderer

I am a wanderer...

my thoughts enter a warp zone of its own -

  a vagabond in distress...

  trying to search

  the meaning of my existence.

I am a wanderer...

  my heart straggle its way

  to a place called no where;

  yet, everywhere there seems I...

seeking for dreams to come true.

I am a wanderer...

  my soul soaring high

  then plummeting beyond...

  my tattered little life

-- that which I am trying to believe

a perfect story to be told.

I am a wanderer...

  my spirit always confronting

  the challenges of the universe...

  the pretty yet, vague masterpiece

  of the unknown source

... that same energy that carries

  my wandering thoughts

  my wandering heart

  my wandering soul

  my wandering spirit

... to rest and find peace

in the nave of my very own being...

  I.
