Hope

There's a hole in my life, and it's waiting to be filled,

There's a mountain of dirt by its side.

There's a dragon in the way that has got to be killed,

There's a whole lot of places I can hide.

There's a ladder round the corner I can climb to the sky,

There's a road through the cloudsand blue.

There's a hand that will hold me while I'm up so high,

There's a map that will guide me to you.

And together we will slay the unstoppable foe,

And together we will level the ground.

And together we will help lots of flowers to grow,

And together we will share what we've found.

All it took was the asking for a helping hand,

All it needed was to look for you.

All the complicated journeys that my mind had planned

Were unneeded now that one is two.
