Morning

Slowly revealing, patiently yielding,

colours glisten as the day breathes.

Overhanging oceans cascading jewels

of jade and silver, yearning now.

A blackbird chatters, then is still.

A spider climbs his impossible, diaphanous route.

Inaudible wings of ephemera,

brave darting of wrens

All waiting, waiting for the smile,

the welcome kiss of a new beginning.
