Fearless

We stand together no longer helpless in the eyes of God

and all the tears weve cried have been nurturing the ground

I stood alone, like so many through the war and sorrow

but today, I stand with angels, and watch as many more are found

We are the people who are lost in unmanned waters

dealing with true vultures circling near

and if we fall, they pounce upon our weakness

and with our disabilities, we must learn a whole new fear

Take heart and listen carefully for the winds of change

are gathering in forces as we speak

fear not, because the war will soon be over

and those that were not seen or heard will learn to speak

Many voices together will raise the conscious chorus

and as we watch, the raging rivers break apart

fear nothing we are protected by God's mercy

and with that, we fight for a humanity that cannot be bought

Tomorrow feel the strength from all our comrades

and with our pride intact, tell your tale and let it go

Somewhere, someone out there will awaken from their apathy

and we will finally find the peace that each of us were meant to know.
