Celebrate why you are alive, and hear life’s message

be astonished with the new perception that keeps you only wanting more

let your mind come alive with lessons and with new conclusions

it may be far off in the distance, but you will know that special door

When you get lost in your reflection, you should feel no more pain

and each minute that you breathe hold one in for the count of three

with clearer thoughts, you will find the answers that you have been seeking

and in doing so you will also help another set their spirit free

The memories will remind you of another ugly side of life

and just remember any lessons any tests cannot consume you

if you find yourself about to fall, reach out your hand

and you will find the people reaching back are strong and true

You can choose your battles call a truce and walk away

this is your choice; you hold your fate within your hands

and if you choose to stay, beware the heartache will erase your smile

but, try to remember that this is not apart of any of God’s plans

You will see more within a picture, and what you see you must keep safe

and no matter what you have been through remember you can tell your story

we all come in this world alone, and this is how we all will leave

pick a life, choose your weapons, and climb out of purgatory

So, put your head upon a pillow, and relax your mind

if you listen to your spirit, it will clear all your distress

and if you wake up in the morning, you bring forth something special

mark new footprints in the sand, and you will find your way to rest
